Senior Software Engineer GenAI Enterprise Applications (m/f/d)

Develop Enterprise-Ready GenAI solutions: You develop agentic systems and GenAI functionalities that run robust, scalable and auditable in enterprise landscapes. Replace AI architectures: You implement architectural patterns such as AI microservices, AI gateways and control layers according to our Principles for Enterprise-Ready AI Applications. Integrate GenAI in specialist applications: You integrate GenAI into existing enterprise applications, such as assistants, automation, orchestration of agents or intelligent workflows. Separation of Concerns & DSLs: You work with meta models, domain languages and structured interfaces, instead of leaving any “prompt zoo” in the code. Testing, Monitoring & Policies: You build tests, telemetry, and guardrails for AI components so that behavior can be traced, monitored and controlled. TechStack: You work in the backend (Java, Spring Boot/Quarkus), in the frontend (TypeScript, React/Angular/Vue) or Fullstack – always closely linked with cloud and platform teams.

Experience with Enterprise systems: You bring multi-year practice in the development of business-critical applications, ideally in microservice or event-driven architectures. (Very good knowledge of Java/Spring Boot/Quarkus and/or TypeScript/React/Angular/Vue; Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and at least one big cloud is a plus). GenAI engineering know-how: First real projects with LLMs/GenAI (e.g. Retrieval-Augmented Generation, Agents, Tool-Calling, Workflow-Orchestrierung) are not new for you. Clean architectural thinking: You have a clear understanding of separation of concerns, deterministic control layers and can clearly separate AI components from core logic. Safety and quality awareness: You think in policies, logging, observability, tests and fallbacks, instead of just in fast prototypes. Team-oriented & curious: You work closely with architects:inside, data/ML teams and disciplines, you quickly learn to make productive GenAI solutions from concepts. Language knowledge: Very good knowledge of German and English.
