Own-responsible procurement of technical manufacturing parts in the area of machining (milling, turning, eroding, grinding, drilling, etc.). Technical testing of drawings and drawing of precise requests from suppliers. Active supplier search and selection in Germany and abroad for mechanical components. Implementation of price and contract negotiations and optimisation of conditions. Date monitoring and ensuring delivery dates in close coordination with work preparation and production. Technical coordination with design, work preparation and quality assurance in complex parts. Supplier evaluation, supplier development and implementation of quality discussions as well as the continuous search for savings potentials and alternative sources of procurement.

Complete technical training (e.g. as an industrial mechanic, machining mechanic, technical sign or comparable) At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing parts or in preparation for work (ideally in mechanical engineering or special machine construction) Good technical understanding of cutting methods (milling, turning, eroding, grinding) Safe handling of technical drawings and production documents Practical experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) negotiating strength and good communication skills Flowing German knowledge, English knowledge of advantage
