Pedagogical Leader

Since 1998, our “Offen Kinder- und Jugendarbeit Jugendhaus LOGO e.V.” has been working as an institution for children and young people in Apolda. Our house is open to children and adolescents of all social strata, politically and religiously unbound. The focus of our institution is on children and adolescents who are not integrated in the other recreational area. Problems with social structures have to enable meaningful recreational design.

For our institution we are looking for a pedagogical specialist who implements our conception, but also brings with it self-initative, creativity and empathy.

Your tasks include:

• Implementation and further development of the concept of the youth house
• Social pedagogical work with children, young people and adults
• Design of leisure activities in open children and youth
• Social pedagogical group work, individual case aid, consultation
• Social space-oriented networking, community and public relations
• Project development, organization and implementation

We expect:

• a qualification with a degree, Bachelor and Master degree in one

Course of social work with state recognition, education or psychology or a comparable degree

• Experiences in working with children, young people and adults
• knowledge in the fields of individual case assistance, group, community, network and public relations, project management and mid-acquises
• Social competence, cooperation and communication skills
• Team spirit, commitment and flexibility
• independent work, conceptual thinking and creativity
• Car guide ticket

• an annual extension (determination due to the project funding period)
• part-time 30 hours/week (working hours vary by car in the period from 13:00 to 19:00 and in the holiday weeks depending on the project offers)
