Software Developer for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (m/f/d)

Development of C++ software and algorithms for embedded real-time systems of autonomous water vehicles, incl. Care of existing software Self-assessment, initiation and implementation of all development activities according to predefined software architecture Creation of software specifications, design documents and test documentation as well as reduction of complexity through decomposition, concept development and software design Assessment of the overall architecture and individual architectural elements with respect to time, quality and cost Coordination with the development team on tasks, problems and obstacles as well as support in planning and implementing work-packages

Higher education in the STEM field or completed specialist informatics:internal training with additional training and multi-year professional experience in application development Multiannual experience in software development with high-performance programming languages (e.g. C++) as well as sound knowledge of tool-based development in Windows and Linux operating systems; Experience with RTOS and Embedded Linux Safe handling of modern analysis and design methods (SysML, UML) or Willingness to acquire this knowledge practical knowledge of agile development methods and a pronounced ability to work independently in existing software and complex systems; high team and communication skills in German and English Flexibility for occasional national and international missions
