We are part of MP (Mercedes-Benz Cars Purchasing and Supplier Quality) - the central purchasing organization of Mercedes-Benz AG. Our team is responsible for fulfilling the internal and legal due diligence obligations in the supply chain, e.g. in relation to the supply chain procurement law (LkSG). To this end, we face the challenge of how we can make our processes and measures even more effective and sustainable in order to prevent global negative effects on humans and the environment, minimise them or, as far as possible, end them. As part of our team, you have the opportunity to actively participate in the implementation of compliance and sustainability strategies in purchasing and to make an important contribution to supply chain responsibility. Your tasks: Designing and developing processes for fulfilling human and environmental care obligations

Implementation of group-specific risk analyses

Support for the collection and evaluation of supplier self-explanatory information on sustainability assessment and, where appropriate, follow-up actions

Implementation of benchmark and trend analyses

Searching legal requirements and regulations, for example, in connection with LkSG, CSDDD or CSRD

Participation in cross-departmental meetings to coordinate projects and actions

The internship can be started from June 2026 or later.

Studies in Economics or Law, Law, Sustainability Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or Similar

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Secure handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Self-employed and reliable operation

Analytical and conceptual skills

Ready to use and team spirit

Affinity for digitalization topics
