Heat and energy are our contribution to the quality of life – every day new. As BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we supply the capital with electricity and heat in a climate-friendly manner. Our district heating network is the largest Western Europe with a length of more than 2,000 kilometres. We supply about one third of the Berlin households with heat. With the know-how of our 2,300 employees, we cover the entire value chain of district heating – from production to grid operation and expansion to distribution. At high pressure, we work at the coal exit until 2030 and at climate-neutral production from 2045. In this way, we support the Land of Berlin significantly when reaching its climate targets. On the way to this we want to realize a higher proportion of renewable energies and waste heat. To do this, we need to redesign many of our sites and facilities. For this challenge and the associated tasks, we need people who are fully committed to our common goal of a local heat transition – people like you.

For the BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH we are looking for you at the next possible time as a work manager: maintenance at the HKW Mitte (Berlin) site in an indefinite position. Your tasks Control and monitoring of maintenance, repair and assembly work Detection/determination of special hazards associated with the implementation of the work, and preparation/control of risk assessments Take measures to ensure that work is carried out safely Supervision and deployment of external personnel, as well as coordination of external personnel operations Control and removal of maintenance services and materials Reports of quality problems, introduction of measures and follow-up checks Participation in standby services

Your profile You are a state-tested technician or master in electrical engineering or mechatronics with a focus on electrical engineering (is a ''muss'') You bring a strong strategic thinking with you and do not lose your goals You can communicate well and bring the necessary negotiation and enforcement skills to You are safe to use PC standard software and have knowledge in SAP You like to take responsibility, show willingness to use and demonstrate an independent and result-oriented way of working You work independently, but also supportively, so you get good results As a team player you have fun working with colleagues – whether internal or external – You have a rating class B Flowing German knowledge on at least level C1 as the main working language (is a ''muss'') You meet about 70 percent of the requirements?
