PR & Media Relations Expert (m/f/d)

The PR & Media Relations Expert (m/w/d) supports the external visibility and reputation of Rentschler Biopharma in relevant regional, national and international media and stakeholder environments within the biopharmaceutical industry. This role is responsible for implementing PR, media and external communication activities in accordance with the global communication strategy.

Tasks and responsibilities

PR & Media Relations Implementation of PR and media activities in accordance with the global communication strategy Establish and maintain relations with relevant regional, national and international media, including specialist, economic and industrial media Development and publication of press releases, press materials, articles and media interactions

Thought Leadership & Management visibility Supporting management and experts in external media and industrial environments Preparation and coordination of media engagements, interviews, external appearances and briefing materials Identification and assessment of relevant media opportunities and external visibility formats

Partner, Industrial and Stakeholder Communication Support for communication activities related to strategic cooperation, partnerships, clusters and industrial ecosystems Translation of complex scientific and collaborative topics into clear external communication materials Support for communication in sensitive or critical situations, including crisis communication activities Contribution to the evaluation and success measurement of PR and media activities

Complete studies in the field of communication, journalism, marketing, life science or related fields More than 15 years of professional experience in public relations, media work or corporate communication within the pharmaceutical, biotech or CDMO industry Proven experience in cooperation with regional, national and international media, including established relationships with relevant technical, economic and industrial media Experience in support of management communication, reputation management and crisis communication in an international business environment Strong understanding of the biotech, pharmaceutical and CDMO ecosystem, including partnerships, industrial dynamics and scientific communication requirements Ability to translate complex scientific and strategic topics into clear, credible and targeted communication Excellent communication skills in German and English (in word and writing), suitable for communication purposes at leadership level and with media Strong skills in stakeholder management and ability to act effectively in a matrix organization with internal and external stakeholders High level of professionalism, sound judgement and discretion in dealing with sensitive issues Structured, reliable and proactive operation with strong attention to quality and consistency
