Specialist in 2nd Level Support Renewable Energies: Biomethane and CO2 Plants (m/f/d)

As a specialist in 2nd Level Support (m/w/d), you take responsibility for the analysis and solution of complex technical disorders as well as for the technical integrity, operational safety and optimization of our state-of-the-art biogas treatment, CO2 and biomethane liquefaction plants escalated by national and international projects and/or national 1st Level Support. You are the interface between the first disturbance gain (1st level) and the process engineering/plant planning/manufacturer (3rd level) and solves problems that require deeper technical know-how. With your use, you are instrumental in feeding biomethane into the gas network as a green alternative to fossil natural gas and gaining CO2 as a valuable raw material - making it an active contribution to the energy transition and reducing CO2 footprint. Your tasks: Complex troubleshooting & diagnosis: Analysis of escalated technical disorders on components of BGUA and BGUM such as compressors, heat exchangers, ADTR (adsorption drying systems), gas pretreatment (filters), gas cleaning towers (amine systems) and separators. Process optimization & adaptation: Monitoring the plant performance, checking process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, filling levels, quality) and fine adjustment to increase efficiency. Pozessleittechnik (PLS): Support for SCADA systems, HMI software and process control systems used in gas generation and distribution. Spare parts management & maintenance: identification and order of required spare parts, detailed inspections and coordination of maintenance work if these go beyond routine activities. Plant Safety & Compliance: Responsibility for compliance with safety standards such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, gas testing and monitoring of work in tight spaces. Operational data evaluation & documentation: Analysis of process data (logs, trends) for root cause analysis, management of reports and updating of technical documentation. Technical Support & Training: Technical support of the 1st level support as well as instructions of the plant personnel during commissioning or troubleshooting in the field. Application support: 2nd level support for special industrial software and ERP systems.
