Number: MER00041MA In the MB.OS energy efficiency team, we optimize the energy requirements of 12V components in all Mercedes-Benz vehicles to improve efficiency and reach. We carry out measurements on vehicles and generate forecasts and simulations. The data obtained are stored in a central database and then evaluated.

For topics in the field of storage, processing and analysis of our forecast and vehicle data, we are looking for support from a working student*in. These challenges include: Connection of LLMs (Claude, GPT) to the Energy Efficiency Database via MCP

Development of a chat tray for evaluating vehicle measurement data

Further development of the web interface for the energy efficiency database

Enlargement of the Energy Efficiency Database to new data and applications

Communication with users to collect feedback and presentation of results

The activity can begin from June 2026.

Technical studies with the field of computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, etc.

Secure knowledge of German in word and writing

Programming skills with a higher programming language (ideally Python or JavaScript)

Experience in handling the git version control system

Joy in developing apps

Commitment and team skills
