This makes this job interesting for me: 50Hertz develops the Next Generation Control Center Ecosystem (Modular Control Center System) to master the growing demands of the energy transition. As a product owner for Dynamic Stability Assessment, I design the technical and technical development of applications for the analysis and evaluation of transient and dynamic network phenomena. My work ensures that the power system can be operated safely and stable even under highly dynamic conditions, especially with a growing proportion of renewable energies. The products I'm responsible support users from the (operative) system management to identify critical network situations at an early stage, evaluate risks and make sound operational decisions. I therefore make a direct contribution to the system security and the integration of renewable energies. In the context of Product Line Grid Analysis, highly specialized tools are created, which are used both in real-time operation and in planning and forecasting processes and seamlessly integrate into the system management landscape of 50Hertz and Elia. My tasks: design and development of the product vision and roadmap for Dynamic Stability Assessment in the context of the Next Generation Energy Platform, Special responsibility for the further development and operation (You build it, you run it) of DSA software solutions and associated processes for 50Hertz and the Elijah system management, Responsibility for the Product Backlog, including creation and prioritization of User Stories and presentation of results in Sprint Reviews together with the team, close cooperation with developers, architects, users and specialist specialists (e.g. from system management and network planning) as well as with other product teams in the product cluster, active role as communication interface between technical development teams and professional stakeholders; planning, control and implementation of Proof of Concepts, MVPs and evaluation and selection of suitable technical solutions; Creation, coordination and maintenance of roadmaps, release plans and operating strategies for the products responsible.

completed studies of electrical engineering, energy engineering, engineering, computer science, physics or a comparable study programme, at least 3 years of professional experience as a product owner or in a comparable role at the interface between specialist and IT, Very good knowledge of agile methods, especially Scrum or Scrum@Scale, experience in the development or application of software for network calculations and analyses, ideally in the field of dynamic simulations or stability analyses, basic to deepened understanding of dynamic network processes, e.g. transients, control of generation systems or protection and automatic functions, knowledge of network calculations such as load flow, short-circuit or dynamic simulations, analytic and structured thinking capacity as well as a high degree of autonomy and self-initiative, Ability to structure, visualize and communicate complex technical facts in a manner that is addressable, expressed product-oriented thinking and joy in developing sustainable solutions together in the team, Languages: German (at least C1) and very good English (at least B2).
