As a system engineer (m/w/d), together with an interdisciplinary team of internal and external specialists, you develop the system design of modern ground-bound air defense systems and their subsystems. With the procedures of the Engineering system, you accompany the entire development phase of a complex system from definition to verification and are the respondent in relation to the specifics and system architecture at your system level. The creation of associated specifications and architectures is one of your activities as well as the monitoring of systems or system elements from the first concept to the final acceptance; During the various stages of development, you are responsible, in particular, for the maintenance of the requirements and the associated instructions of the system to be developed. To solve interdisciplinary problems, you are the driving force in the team; Its technical width enables you to moderate the dialogue between the participating disciplines and to develop and balance appropriate solutions. In addition, you support the communication with customers and the technical support of subcontractors – also at international level; ensure the quality of your work by using modern, model-based methods and tools.

This position is preceded by a successful study of engineering, e.g. systems engineering, air and space engineering, mechanical engineering or software engineering. You already have some experience in research management, system modelling in the development of large-scale Mili­cal devices or Systems of ground-bound air defense or special machinery for air and space travel.
