Your scope of action: In an era where sustainability and environmental protection are becoming increasingly important, the legal regulations for reducing vehicle emissions are more stringent than ever. Our department plays a central role in shaping a more environmentally friendly future of mobility. We are responsible for the essential emission, consumption and electrical range certification of all Mercedes-Benz cars and vans. This includes not only precise operational measurements on state-of-the-art exhaust and engine test stands, but also the strategic acquisition of complex system permits. Our Team Certification Europe and Special Markets Manages Global Emissions Certification (except USA, Canada, China) and thus ensures the necessary approvals based on diverse international framework conditions. These exciting tasks and challenges await you: Active support of our team of experts in operational processes and projects in daily business Professional documentation to ensure compliance and archiving Participation in the assignment and detailed evaluation of test bench tests Support in the planning and implementation of specialist events and internal workshops For corresponding programming skills: Active cooperation in the care and development of our data processing systems, as well as independent programming tasks The activity can start from January 2026.

You are a enrolled student*in in the master or bachelor's degree program of vehicle engineering, engineering or a comparable technical degree program and seek a practical challenge Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Routinized handling of MS-Office applications High commitment, strong team skills and proactive working A pronounced analytical approach and a strategic and independent approach to tasks Additional skills required: Basic knowledge of programming Knowledge in Excel VBA for the automation of processes Ready for an exciting challenge?
