They will be part of the TÜV Rheinland Business Stream “Products” Global Sustainability Team for Germany and responsible for the development of sustainability activities for various product categories (e.g. textiles, hard goods, electrical, solar and commercial products, medical devices) to address the needs of TÜV Rheinland customers regionally and globally. The business development around sustainable TR services for materials, products and packaging for a variety of industries in Germany will support you with your expertise in the field of sustainability. As a sustainability expert, you contribute to the efforts of the sales teams to expand the business with sustainability services. They support the global development of new services for sustainable materials, products and packaging, such as PCF testing, product-LCA's, EPD's, ESPR/Digital Product Pass, EU Green Deal (R strategies) and more. They run or support the project execution of sustainability services for, for example, PCF calculations and audits.

Passion for sustainability with comprehensive knowledge about ESG trends At least 5 years of professional experience in sustainability consulting, business development or management of a company's sustainability programme - ideally from the manufacturing industry for electrical, electronics, solar or commercial products or medical devices Knowledge and experience in the implementation of a digital tool/an IT platform in terms of transparency and traceability along global supply chains as well as in the work with specialist digital data Customer orientation and proven ability to quickly assess and understand customer’s sustainability challenges and to offer appropriate technical solutions Experiences with relevant disciplines and committee work Excellent communication skills in German and English in all forms, including in writing, in presentations and in the public, for dealing with customers, non-governmental organisations, industrial groups and internal teams
