As a machining mechanic*, after your training, you are qualified for work in the field of machining on lathes. Tasks may include the precise shape and dimensions of workpieces for machines, equipment and installations by turning and drilling operations on machine tools. Machining mechanics work according to technical documentation, plan the production process and create programs for controlled machines. They adjust cutting machines and monitor the manufacturing process.
