(Ober-) Construction line New building As a (over) construction manager*in new building, you take responsibility for some of the most important transport and infrastructure projects in Freiburg – from the first plan to the last acceptance. Large projects, great effect: You take over the project control for some of the most important construction projects in the city – from the development of new quarters to city railway and cycling projects to the redesign of central transport axes. You accompany all phases of the project: from construction preparation to implementation to successful completion. You are the face of the builder: In your role as project manager and contractor representation, you keep all threads in your hands. You will take care of tendering and awarding independently, coordinate all participants and ensure that projects are implemented on time and in the budget. Construction management with an overview: As a responsible construction manager*in, you will check and evaluate yields, guarantee quality assurance and answer the professional acceptance of the construction services. You know what it's about at the construction site – and you'll meet decisions with a vision. Communicative and present: You represent your projects convincingly inward and outside – whether in committees and municipal councils, at citizens' meetings, on the Internet or the press. In close coordination with the press department, you will show how modern urban development works – transparent, citizen-oriented and forward-looking.

You have completed your studies (Diplom TU/FH, Master or Bachelor) in the field of Civil Engineering, Civil Management, Infrastructure Management, Industrial Engineering or in a comparable technical course. Your knowledge forms the solid foundation for demanding construction projects. You own the class B license. Ideally, you know the requirements of modern transport systems and move safely through the world of HOAI, VOB and ZTV asphalt. You would like to bring good knowledge of planning and procurement law and understand how to apply them in a targeted manner in the event of tenders and project awards. With your experience in project management, you can efficiently structure complex processes – even with several stakeholders with different interests, you can keep the goal in mind. You understand your position clearly without losing sight of each other. Your empathy and social competence make you an esteemed appeal – within the team and externally.
