Our client is a growing family business (over 1,500 MA) with sales and production companies all over the world. Complex products made of plastic and metal are developed and produced from small to large series for customers in various industries. For the largest plant (600 MA) within the international group of companies we are looking for you as Managing Director (m/w/d) as part of an age succession.

The work in the Remscheid / Solingen area is characterized by a wide variety of variants and a high degree of automation. The spectrum ranges from plastic and metal processing to assembly in small and large series. The group-internal coordination with the international sales companies and the other works is just as important as the optimization of in- and external logistics and Industry 4.0. The work sets benchmarks within the group and is a pioneer in new technologies. Group-wide tasks are bundled in a holding company. The traditional family business is characterized by high innovative strength, rapid response to the requirements of the markets and high production depth. Total responsibility for the main production site of the Vielund group Developing a clear orientation and focus for the production plant and pursuing this orientation in the fields of production, product development and supply chain Continuing the proactive transformation and optimisation of the production plant to increase the competitiveness and sustainable securing of the location's vulnerability Adaptation of the supply chain and implementation of Operational Excellence in the production process as well as focusing on lean production and one-piece ?ow Implementation of the dedicated strategy at the production site and strategic decisions in everyday (production) practices Responsibility for the evaluation of new technologies and processes for the German production site for further rationalization of production

Successfully completed technical studies in the field of process engineering, mechanical engineering, economic and/or engineering, also with an economic background Insufficient professional experience as a factory manager or production manager (m/w/d) of a series manufacturer with a variety of variants, ideally in the metal or art-engineering industry as well as experience in internal and external logistics Detectable successes in the (strategic and operative) realignment of a medium-sized, globally oriented production plant with international structures Competence in process optimization and control of transformation projects Excellent knowledge of English in word and writing Leadership and experience in the development of interdisciplinary teams A positively demanding, questioning personality A self-responsible, targeted way of working with a pronounced hand-on mentality and very good communication skills
