IT Network Specialist for Network and Security Infrastructure (m/f/d)

Our Information Technology (GB IT) business unit with its over 200 colleagues operates one of the most modern clinical IT environments in Europe. We ensure that the necessary data and functions are available wherever You are needed for the safe supply of our patients. You can actively shape the consistent expansion and further development of IT in the Uke. Your tasks: Creation of technical concepts, decision templates and implementation plans Conceptual and planning development of existing network and security solutions Planning and evaluation of extensions, adaptations and modernisations as part of the operation Operation, administration and development of the network and security infrastructure, including firewall systems (IDS/IPS) Application delivery components such as reverse proxy, load balancer, WAF and ICAP VPN solutions for internal and external connections Ensuring availability, performance and security of the responsible systems Analysis, processing and troubleshooting within 2nd and 3rd level support Use of existing monitoring and logging systems to analyze errors and derive measures Introducing and rethinking ideas for optimising stability, safety and operationality Assessment of new technologies and solutions in terms of benefits, risks and KRITIS conformity Support in the introduction of new solutions incl. Transfer to operation Cooperation with internal departments and external service providers

Completed academic studies in the relevant IT field or a comparable field of study or equivalent skills and experience, such as e.g. by a university degree in the relevant IT field or a comparable field of study with at least 4 years of relevant professional experience Detectable experience in the operation of network and security infrastructures in complex or highly available environments is advantageous First experience in the environment of critical infrastructures or comparable regulated IT operations Ideally: sound knowledge in the operation of firewalls, application delivery solutions, WAFs and VPN technologies Experience in the operation and/or care of PKI structures and certificate management First knowledge of the environment 802.1X / NAC Experience in the creation of technical concepts and basis of decision Very good German knowledge in word and writing (at least at level C1 according to European reference framework) for everyday working and voting Ability to evaluate new requirements and ideas in a structured manner and to develop them in practice The grouping takes place according to the personal qualification of:the candidate:in.
