The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

The SOS Children's Village Sauerland supports stationary youth aids with a variety of offers in the area of SGB VIII. With around 140 employees, we improve the living situation of many children, young people and families every day. The offer portfolio includes children's village families, differentiated care offers of various housing groups, cared for housing, outpatient flexible assistance, animal-assisted pedagogy, three public daycare centres, two of them with connected family center and Childcare projects.

For our SOS Children's Village Sauerland we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in full time or part-time (max. 38.5 hours/Where)

Our three kitas in Lüdenscheid care for children aged 2 to 6 in different forms of care. The two-group Kita Children's Villa offers space for 40 children. The three-group Kita Pfützenhüpfer has 20 full-day places. The single-group Kita Rappelkiste, connected to a family center, also offers 20 full-day places. The children can discover themselves and their world through professional, educational activities and the loving support of our staff of Kita. The partnership between educators and parents is particularly important to us, so our institution also sees itself as a habitat and meeting place for children and parents. As an educational specialist, you support the individual development of children with expertise and empathy. The child's resources and interests are at the heart of your work with the child. You go to the curiosity of the children and make educationally meaningful test rooms. By building an emotionally reliable and stable relationship, you give children orientation, security and support. In regular conversations, parents will inform and advise you about the state of development of their child, questions and fears will help you in their education task. You exchange intensively with the other professionals of the group. You are conscientiously implementing the protection of children and responsibilities.

You have a degree as an educator or a comparable educational qualification as a specialist in accordance with § 28 KiBiz. You have an appreciation and resource-oriented look at the whole family. You bring commitment to the further development of our pedagogical work. By building reliable and stable relationships, you give children orientation, security and emotional support. In regular and confident discussions, parents will inform you about the development of their children. With respect and empathy you can support them with questions or concerns. You are team-oriented and have an independent working and flexibility at the same time. The protection and well-being of children are always at the heart of your action - you act carefully, responsibly and reflect. Your handling of proximity and distance to the representatives is professional.
