Test Engineer Operational Strength – Chassis and Structural Components (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d)

Place: Untertürkheim

Determination of load collectives/component lifetime Operating strength releases of structural and chassis components performing driving tests, component and system tests as well as simulations Tests on body testing systems and component test stands Support for release strategies, test planning and test regulations Definition of driving programs and special events Evaluation of damage simulations Analysis of test runs and driving tests and documentation Further development of methods of operational strength (electrification) Support for final and research work Participation in bodies and representation Coordination of external service providers

Complete engineering studies (Master/Dipl.-Ing.) or comparable knowledge Professional experience in operational strength, testing, vehicle construction, suspension or technical project management Experience with road simulation test stands for axle systems or body structures Knowledge of operational strength, FEM, MKS, materials and connection technology as well as lightweight construction Very good knowledge of German and English; Spanish desirable Analytical thinking ability, structured work and high learning readiness Secure appearance as well as pronounced communication and team skills
