About the position As a Senior Solar Consultant, you will become a trusted advisor that supports our customers and helps them to move faster to a profoundly decarbonised energy system. You will be active in all phases of the life cycle of solar-PV projects, from early development, construction and decline, to the operating phase to the end of the lifetime. Mergers and acquisitions or project financing are also included. You use your networking skills to get in touch with professionals within DNV and externally, to share knowledge and experience and to understand the challenges of our customers. In your daily work, you will identify business opportunities[RM1], offer solutions for customers and offer orders. As a team player, you are part of a local solar team and work internationally with other DNV solar experts. Your role also includes participation in business development, project management and service development, with the opportunity to improve existing services and initiate new ones. You will be involved in a selection of typical technical and commercial tasks, including Support for customers in purchasing and quality assurance, including tenders and contract negotiations Risk analyses for technical due diligence testing of projects in the planning and operating phase, including:Data analysis Examination of documentation Contract review, evaluation of design and technology, earnings assessment

About you For a successful application, you should bring the following conditions At least five years of experience in the solar sector, ideally in consulting or engineering offices Bachelor's or Master's degree in Solar / Renewable Energy, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Atmosphere Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or a related subject Experience in the operation of solar PV systems in European countries Very good knowledge of German and English readiness for short business trips in Germany and abroad (about 10% national, 10% international) The following properties would be advantageous: Knowledge of wind energy Experience with technical and solar-related software solutions (PVsyst, SolarFarmer, Python, AutoCAD) You should also be sure to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and have a valid license (class B).
