You take over the overarching responsibility for the digital development of our company and control the further development of the IT sector. You work in close coordination with the central area management of digitization and organization and closely with the management of the IT department. Together you shape the future-oriented development of our IT and the digital transformation of our company.

In this central leadership position, you take over the overriding responsibility for the strategic orientation and further development of digitalization and information technology. An essential part of your task is the direct management and further development of the digitization department. You thus combine strategic responsibility with the concrete design and implementation of our digital future. Your versatile tasks include: Superior strategic and operational responsibility for the further development of digitalization, information technology and information security in close coordination with the central area management of digitalization and organization. Heading, building and further development of the digitization department and superordinate strategic management and coordination of the IT sector in close cooperation with the existing management of the IT department. Developing, updating and implementing a holistic digitalization and IT strategy in line with the company's strategic objectives. Coordination and prioritization of the cross-departmental development of IT infrastructure, IT system landscape and digital applications as well as ensuring a powerful, secure and future-oriented IT operation in cooperation with the IT department management. Parent responsibility for the information security and cybersecurity of the institution as well as initiation and further development of appropriate structures, processes and measures in cooperation with the responsible persons. Advising the central management, management and executives on fundamental and strategic issues of digitalization, IT and information security. Identification, assessment and prioritization of digitalization potentials in medicine, care, therapy and administration as well as development of corresponding fields of action and implementation projects. Initiation, control and implementation of cross-departmental digitalization and IT projects as well as coordination of the participating departments and responsible persons. Observation, assessment and strategic classification of technological developments, in particular in the fields of artificial intelligence, automation, digital health care and IT security. Design and support of change processes as well as promoting sustainable digital culture and responsible handling of new technologies within the organization. Leadership, promotion and further development of employees in their own areas of responsibility as well as designing suitable structures and interfaces for effective cooperation between digitalization and IT.

You have completed academic studies (master, diploma or comparable degree), preferably in computer science, business informatics, medical/health informatics, administrative informatics, health management or a comparable discipline. Also addressed are professionals from all medical, therapeutic and health-related professional groups who have a relevant additional qualification as well as proven multiannual experience in the areas of digitalization, IT, information management or digital transformation. In addition, bring: Experience in the development and implementation of digitalization strategies as well as in the management of complex projects and change processes. Ideally experience in healthcare and a good understanding of clinical and administrative processes.
