Junior Software Developer - Python & C++ (m/f/d)

Greenplan develops intelligent and highly-performant solutions for route planning, touring optimization and complex logistical decision-making processes. As Junior Software Developer (m/w/d), you will become part of our development team and work on the core components of our routing and optimization platform. You help us continuously develop our algorithms, realize new features and optimally align our software with demanding customer requirements. In detail, your tasks are as follows: You develop software components in Python and C++ and drive the further development of our routing engine as well as our optimization algorithms. You implement features around tour planning, graph models, distance matrices and API services. You analyze and optimierst performancecritical code. You work closely with our algorithmic team, our mathematician team and other development partners – including the University of Bonn and the Institute of Discrete Mathematics. You accompany the entire development cycle from design to implementation and testing to documentation.

You have a degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a comparable qualification. You have very good knowledge in Python and C++, as well as additional knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence. You are interested in algorithms, graph theory and optimization problems. You bring first experience with Git and software projects. You're drawing yourself through analytical thinking, team spirit and joy in clean code. You have good knowledge of German and English.
