You are part of a project team that continuously renews our core system and integrates it into our system landscape. This system landscape is an essential component for supporting medical personnel in the digital assignment of laboratory tests. Furthermore, the following activities are your main tasks: Responsibility for the further development and maintenance of our laboratory order and findings communication system in the agile development environment Conception, development and implementation of complex functions and modules of our inventory software with current technologies, in particular PHP, Symfony and Doctrine Technical implementation using modern development principles such as Clean Code and Design Patterns Documentation of development and security of code quality Designing and optimizing our system architecture in ongoing operation and new projects Performance analysis and improvement Ensuring software quality in backend and frontend by code reviews, automated testing as well as using modern test and analysis tools (e.g. PHPStan and Pest) Stakeholder communication between development, product and test management Documentation of technical facts in the ticket system and in the internal knowledge database

You have a successfully completed university degree in Computer Science or a related degree course, as an alternative you can demonstrate a successfully completed vocational training as a specialist (m/w/d) in the field of application development with relevant programming experience You have at least 4 years of experience in the development of web applications and provide sound knowledge in PHP (Symfony, Doctrine), MySQL and JavaScript and Bootstrap with Knowledge of the React Framework as well as API Platform and Flyway are advantageous, but not absolutely necessary You have a strong understanding of software architecture, system integration and API design The handling of common development environments as well as the version control system Git is familiar to you Experience in implementing functional and integration tests is desirable You are characterized by an independent, structured and quality-oriented approach You are a dedicated team player (m/w/d) with high communicative skills as well as flexibility and enjoying team-wide work Very good German skills complete your profile
