As a medium-sized company with over 50 employees in the production and distribution of cable laying machines and equipment, and the distribution of inflatable devices for micro and glass fiber cables, we are looking for a motivated colleague/his motivated colleague.

We are currently moving in one of the largest growth markets and are looking for a foreman or for our team. Team leader in trailer construction for further reinforcement in full time at the immediate beginning:

Industriemechaniker / Schlosser / Metallbearbeiter / Konstruktionsmechaniker mit Managementresponsibility (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

• Percentage of output: 70 %
• Manufacturing of individual parts, assemblies and complete machines (cable drum transport trailers) using various manufacturing methods
• Self-assembly of hydraulic components
• Work according to technical drawing and manufacturing specifications
• Welding work with MIG/MAG method
• Proportion of work performance in coordination/planning: 30%
• (Sustainable/ Disciplinary) leadership, guidance, division and further development of the team (9 MA)
• Planning, monitoring and further development of manufacturing processes taking into account the efficiency, timing, quality and safety requirements in coordination with the Operations Manager
• Processing and sustainable solution of process disorders in cooperation with relevant departments (e.g. quality, development, logistics)
• Participation in daily production meetings and processing of derived tasks

Your profile:

• Complete vocational training as a locksmith, metal builder or as a motor vehicle, agricultural machine mechanic, industrial mechanic, mechatronic
• Experience of teams in production context
• Technical understanding of the interaction of different methods, materials and components in the field of hydraulics, pneumatics and motor technology
• Multiannual professional experience in the manufacturing industry
• Embossed organisational and communication skills and enforcement skills
• Team spirit, high performance and flexibility
• Problem-solving capability and high self-initiative
• Good knowledge of German for secure communication in the team and working with technical documents
• Valid welding certificate of advantage
