The Caritas Association for the City of Bonn is the local welfare association of the Catholic Church. With more than 1,100 employees, we offer support for people in the areas of children, youth and family, integration and rehabilitation as well as life and living in age and illness. In our more than 60 different facilities and services we accompany people according to the personal situation of life. The esperanza advisory body offers various offers as a pregnancies, parents and fathers' advice, which deal with questions before, during and after pregnancy. Target groups are pregnant women, (becoming) fathers, young parents and single parents. In addition to the coordinating body ‘Frühen Hilfe’, the department ‘Sexualpädagogik und Aids-Prevention’ also belongs to the task of esperanza. For the esperanza consultancy, we are looking for a*n at the 01.05.2026/next time as a parental representation

Your tasks: • They advise pregnant women and mothers, (becoming) parents and couples on all questions, concerns and crises concerning pregnancy, birth and first years of life of the child according to §2 SchKG. • inform you about social questions and provide social and economic assistance. • You conduct consultations personally, by telephone and in the context of online and chat consultation.

Your profile: • They have a university degree in social education or a comparable degree. • Ideally, you have completed a training in systemic advice or systemic therapy. • You have completed or are ready to acquire the “Systemic Advice in Pregnancy Consultancy” training. • You have a sound knowledge of the relevant social legislation. • A high level of empathy, security in dealing with crisis situations as well as intercultural competence are yours. • They are flexible in time. • You have a positive attitude towards the Christian principles of our association.
