The ''Compliance'' department of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft's headquarters operates a compliance management system in the complex field of tension between industry and science. We are looking for a new member to strengthen our team for this equally varied and responsible range of tasks. Our constant goal is to efficiently combine the requirements for effective and reliable compliance with the needs of a modern scientific organization. We are guided by our higher-level compliance goals: a safe, free, ethically perfect and internationally open science and research.

You strengthen our division »Compliance« and help to promote the innovation-promoting atmosphere through a secure framework of action and proactive support for the scientific activities of the Fraunhofer Institutes. Since we actively promote the modernisation of the management and compliance processes at Fraunhofer, you need to optimize the Fraunhofer-wide processes from compliance perspective and implement relevant compliance requirements. Specifically, you opt for our compliance management system (CMS) in your role and implement appropriate measures with a preventive focus. In addition, you take over the administration and further development of our internal policy database and support IT-related issues in the course of ongoing digitalization in compliance. Last but not least, you advise the central departments and institutes regarding compliance-relevant enquiries and develop solutions for relevant policy issues and individual cases.

Completed studies of law (1st and 2nd State Exams), a completed academic study of economics or a comparable degree Professional experience in compliance, preferably with first contact points for (public funded) research or administration Ideally (first) knowledge in the design and design of effective compliance systems, fun in the implementation of elements in our CMS and the target group-specific mediation of appropriate measures An analytical way of thinking and action, in particular with regard to changing legal frameworks Communication skills in very good German and ideally advanced English, team orientation and the will to deal with processes of different, partly foreign areas
