Your role Technical support and further development of electronic components of our medical technology video systems throughout the product life cycle
Full assessment of changes in the system context: You build a deep understanding of the entire surgical microscope to reliably assess the interactions of the video platform with other system components (optics, mechanics, tripod)
Ensuring the platform integrity: You understand video technology as a central platform component and ensure that changes in different product configurations work reliably
Possibility to participate in new development projects on a point-by-point basis in order to gain experience from the field, the clear main focus of this position being on the care and optimization of existing product families.
Proactive obsolescence management for electronic components (e.g. image sensors, interface components, FPGAs, displays)
Research, evaluation and qualification of demanding alternative components incl. Planning, execution and documentation of tests
Technical analysis and solution finding for challenges from production or field (Complaint Handling) in the field of video electronics
Analysis and adaptation of existing circuit designs (analog/digital)
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (switches, piece lists, test reports) according to medical technology standards
Close cooperation with development, purchasing, production, QM and external suppliers
completed studies (electronics, electrical engineering, communications technology, etc.)
Professional experience or sound knowledge (practice/final work) in hardware development
strong interest and ideally knowledge in video technology (signals, interfaces, sensors, displays, FPGAs)
