To strengthen our IP team, we are looking for a detailed and analytical personality with technical understanding and strategic vision in industrial legal protection. In this role, you contribute significantly to developing our IP strategy and positioning ContiTech as “first choice for material driven solutions”. Your tasks: Responsibility for patent portfolios in the field of mechanics – from the application to the issue elaboration, submission and support of international patent applications, e.g. in close cooperation with external national law firms Freedom-to-Operate analyses to secure our innovation projects Support in the development of new IP strategies in close cooperation with technology and business areas Evaluation of inventions and implementation of internal IP trainings Support in licensing negotiations and the development of IP-relevant contracts

Complete study of engineering (M.Sc. or Ph.D.), ideally in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, production technology or physics EPO approval and/or legal qualification in German patent law (DPMA) or multiannual experience as a patent professional in an industrial company or a firm Knowledge of European and international patent law Analytical thinking, structured functioning and pronounced communication skills German and English skills The applications of disabled people are welcome.
