Number: MER0003W2S Within all Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans, the MP - Mercedes-Benz Procurement and Supplier Quality division is responsible for an annual purchase volume in the double-digit billion range and is responsible for the quality of all Mercedes-Benz Cars. With the support of nearly 1,500 suppliers in Germany and abroad, we supply our worldwide vehicle and aggregate plants with the necessary production materials. In the age of ever-changing market conditions, securing the global supply chain plays a central and important role in the field of Mercedes-Benz Procurement & Supplier Quality. The supplier capacity management stands for this. We ensure the delivery capacity of parts over the entire vehicle life cycle within the worldwide Mercedes-Benz Cars production program and ensure the availability of the required production capacities at the supplier. In the case of identified bottlenecks, we immediately react with suitable measures for securing series production. During your mandatory practice, you will get an interesting insight into global networking and communication between suppliers and Mercedes-Benz plants. You work in a collegial environment within our team. These challenges come to you: Participation in identifying and securing critical supply chains

Cooperation in ensuring the optimal supply of materials for operational bottlenecks of inter-work situations

Introduction of capacity-protection measures in the start-up and series process Participation in system maintenance and evaluation of demand- and capacity-relevant indicators of global supply chains

Planning and preparation of supplier visits and discussions

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Degree course Economics/Engineers, Business Informatics, Business Administration or a comparable degree course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Commitment and team skills

Analytical thinking and strategic working
