Do you like to dance to machines and bring a good technical and mathematical understanding? Then you will meet with this profession in black: Develop, calculate and construct machines and equipment for a wide range of applications as a mechanical engineer (m/w/d). In addition to your studies at the University of Applied Sciences Flensburg, you will complete an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/w/d) in the field of machine and plant engineering. In the lecture-free times as well as in the second year of teaching (3 & 4 semesters), you are employed on our shipyard and gain practical experience in manufacturing to understand the assembly and operation of ship machines and work in engineering departments where you are involved, for example, in the development and optimization of machinery and drive systems for ships. Duration of study: 4.5 years (9 semesters, with the third and fourth semesters being a year of practice on the shipyard) Place of study: Hochschule Flensburg Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.)
