Due to a large number of road conversion, sewer construction, bridge construction and track construction measures as well as the associated constantly changing traffic controls, light signal systems, directions, StVO signs and markings must be adapted to the respective circumstances (transport management). The operation and maintenance of special structures shall be ensured. As a road load carrier, the city of Darmstadt is obliged to maintain the traffic-related facilities in a satisfactory, reliable and traffic-safe state at any time as part of the traffic safety obligation.
