Permanent representation of the chief physician, with the takeover of medical, organizational and personnel management and overall responsibility for the department in its absence Support in department management: relief and proactive assistance of the chief physician in strategic and operational activities Active participation in the structural, strategic and conceptual orientation and further development of the specialist department, with an expansion of our treatment priorities and an optimization of the clinical processes Continuous conceptual further development and practical implementation of an inclusive treatment approach that provides for the co-treatment of people with a reduction in intelligence in all areas Active participation in an efficient occupancy control and a timely case management Head of the doctor and team management of a multi-professional treatment team, with professional leadership, guidance and supervision of assistant physicians, psychologists and therapeutic professionals Surgical patient care, with clinical diagnostics and therapy of complex illnesses as well as carrying out ober- and chef medical visits Participation in the obstetric background service Active participation in the training, development and further training of medical and psychological personnel to ensure high treatment standards Active participation in the design of the specialist training curriculum for assistant physicians in the field of psychiatry and psychotherapy representation of the department inside and outside Cooperation with internal interfaces and external partners and institutions

As a specialized clinic for epilepsy and inclusion, the house has a special focus and interface profile (departments for epileptology, internal medicine, geriatrics, child and youth psychiatry, adult psychiatry).

The Department of Psychiatrics and Psychotherapy comprises 85 fully-stationary (including 5 protected) and 22 partially-stationary treatment sites and a psychiatric hospital. The entire spectrum of psychiatric diseases is treated.
