Securities Settlement/Settlement Specialist with a focus on Client Asset Safeguarding (m/w/d)

The “Securities Custody Services” division is responsible for the further development of the services of the securities business for Client Solutions, Corporates and the Private Bank. Main objectives of the unit are the internalization and integration of back-office activities incl. Building a back office technology platform and harmonisation of providers in the field of securities deposit services to create a simplified, standardized target model and subsequent operational operation of the target model.

Position type: Full-time/Part-time Close cooperation with the Single Officer Regular and independent creation of risk analysis over the entire securities process including outsourced processes Continuous monitoring and documentation based on the risk analysis of organisational measures (e.g. based on incidents, audit reports, customer complaints) Planning and implementation of Second Line of Defense Audits at the securities provider as well as internal, relevant units. In the wake of the findings made in the corresponding units Representation of the Single Officer Perspective at relevant bank processes such as the new product process and all relevant securities projects Advice and support of the single officer and in case of representation to the management Single Point of Entry for the Regulator at Single Officer relevant topics in cooperation with the Single Officer Leading compilation of reporting to management (annual report and ad hoc reports on significant findings) and presentation in cooperation with the Single Officer Settlement specialist in the project Brenner Process transformation: management of change initiatives in the areas of international settlement, trade financing and guarantees focusing on improving efficiency, compliance and scalability within the processes. System optimisation: Accompanying system optimization projects in cooperation with OPS management and implementing changes that improve system performance and user experience. Improving customer workflow: monitoring changes in customer interaction workflows, improving service provision and operational efficiency to provide an excellent customer experience. Product modernisation: Transforming product management for international settlement and commercial financing, adapting product offering to changing market requirements and maintaining competitiveness. Optimization of the problem solution: Improving the problem-solving processes in processing by rationalising workflows and promoting stronger cooperation with external parties to solve problems more efficiently. Workflow Optimization: Redesigning booking and voting processes to fix inefficiencies, ensure compliance with regulations and increase operational accuracy. Stakeholder engagement: building effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders through organizing workshops, updates and engagement activities throughout the change process to ensure alignment and acceptance.

Embossed organizational skills: ability to prioritise and manage multiple complex change initiatives, including system optimizations and product modernizations to guarantee punctual and effective delivery. Embossed functional knowledge: Multiannual practical experience and knowledge in the areas of international settlement / settlements and delivery transactions from the operational and/or compliance perspective. Knowledge of settlement problems, camp sites problems and their connections. Expertise in the analysis of workflows, booking and voting processes. Knowledge of the fair and correct settlement of securities transactions in compliance with legal regulations such as MaDepot, CSDR, Service Level Agreements and Market Practices. Communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent communication skills as well as pronounced problem solving capabilities to develop and implement solution processes, to conduct audits, to be able to enter a professional exchange with legal and compliance, and to be able to advise management. Very good knowledge of English in word and writing. Project Management: To have been able to cooperate on projects that focus on process transformation, system optimization and workflow improvements to enable compliance and efficiency in international settlement and commercial financing operations. Functional knowledge: Multiannual practical experience and knowledge in the areas of international settlement / Settlement, delivery and final notes, Settlement to optimize problems in cooperation with the warehouses. Expertise in optimizing workflows, booking and voting processes to ensure accurate and compliant processes. Ensure the fair and correct settlement of securities transactions in compliance with legal regulations such as CSDR, Service Level Agreements and Market Conduct. Experience: Experience in the areas of compliance, international settlement, commercial financing and/or operations management with a focus on process optimization, system expansion and workflow optimization. Additional competencies: Ability to promote stakeholder engagement and strengthen cross-functional cooperation in order to guarantee the alignment and successful implementation of changes throughout the company.
