Head of Equipment Engineering (m/f/d)

As Head of Equipment Engineering (m/w/d) Group – Surfacing, you are responsible for all products and developments within the Equipment Group “Surfacing”. Your responsibility includes: · Design, engineering, electrical/control technology, software, process development and automation · Development and implementation of technology and product roadmaps · Responsibility for technologies such as blocking, gene rating, engraving, polishing, deblocking, fluid management and associated additional products · Control and monitoring of all development projects according to Satisloh development process including cost, quality and time responsibility · Close cooperation with BU management and product management in strategic product decisions · Cooperation with the industrialization team (including 3rd level support, standardization of tools and processes) · Capacity planning for the development team · Development of the product and technology portfolio and definition of roadmaps · Support for sales in identifying new sales opportunities and technical customer advice

· Completed study as a Dipl. -Ing. or Dr.-Ing. or comparable qualification, ideally in construction, electrical engineering or computer science · Multiannual experience in a leading development function · Desirable: Knowledge of the Processes of Optical Industry · Structured, independent and targeted mode of operation · Very good knowledge of German and English · Secure handling of MS Office, basic knowledge of SAP R/3 · readiness to travel · Communication strength, team spirit and flexibility
