Legal Counsel / In-house Lawyer Insurance Distribution Law (m/f/d)

For our Legal Department, we are now looking for backup as a Legal Counsel / Syndicusrechtsanwalt (m/w/d) with the focus on insurance distribution right in unlimited permanent employment in full time.

Place of work: Our headquarters in Lübeck is your fixed anchor – here you are regularly on site every week and in close cooperation with your team. Mobile work is not an exception, but an integral part of your everyday work.

A versatile role awaits you within our future-oriented business environment. You act as a strategic and operational legal consultancy for the management and our Group companies, in particular in the insurance distribution right. Your tasks

Central contact person: Internal and external contact point for all questions in the field of law with a focus on insurance distribution law

Contract management: creation, audit and negotiation of contracts, LOI, NDA and AGB as well as responsibility for the entire and ongoing contract management

Company law: Advising the Managing Directors on Corporate Law Issues, Creating Corporate Decisions, and Developing and Upgrading Company Agreements

Compliance & Monitoring: Monitoring and implementation of regulatory requirements as well as independent monitoring of relevant legal changes, including early preparation or decision presentation for management

Process optimization & Projects: Continuous optimization and digitization of the processes as well as cooperation on various projects

Academic degree: Completed degree in law (second legal examination)

Professional experience: First practical experience in some of the aforementioned legal areas and/or the willingness to work on the subject areas

Knowledge of insurance distribution law: First knowledge of insurance distribution law (especially insurance private law, commercial and company law, commercial law, competition law)

Economic knowledge: Good knowledge of economic private law and civil law

Admission to the Syndical Attorney: We support the approval as a syndicate attorney/syndical attorney (no guarantee, the final decision is not in our hands).
