In the pre-series center, we manufacture prototypes and pre-series vehicles and ensure that new truck generations are tested early for construction and production capability. We validate new technical solutions, test future production processes in a protected laboratory environment and prepare the series plants optimally for coming products. As a competence center and “Firewall” of series production, we set the basis for stable, efficient and safe production processes of tomorrow.

You can look forward to Know our MAN production system (MNPS), which ensures efficient, stable and quality-secured production processes through lean principles, standards and continuous improvement You get a comprehensive insight into all the stations of our pre-series band and apply the learned MNPS principles directly to the processes in the pre-series center You design and run Mini MNPS workshops in cooperation with the employees of the individual stations of the pre-series band You analyze, rework and optimize the pre-series and pre-grouping areas for new products from production system vision - using the 5S method (sorting, systematizing, cleankeeping, standardizing, self-discipline). You work closely with our interface partners (e.g. pre-series logistics) You create a value flow analysis, including the recording and maintenance of the equipment into a database. In addition, you will introduce layout adjustments as part of value flow analysis You are involved in setting up work stations and defining delivery locations and delivery zones

We look forward to Studies in Business Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics or Similar Basic knowledge of production systems and methods of lean management High self-motivation as well as a structured and independent operation A team player and a high level of communication skills Secure control of MS Office and ideally IT affinity and interest in digital solutions (PowerApps, AI etc.) Very good knowledge of German and English Ideally, you can support our team for at least 6 months (combination mandatory internship & voluntary internship possible).
