Strategic Buyer Building Products Building Materials (m/w/d)

For a traditional family-run craft group with around 160 companies, we are looking for a dedicated personality as a strategic buyer (m/w/d). In this key position, you contribute significantly to developing the purchasing strategy, optimizing costs, and sustaining supplier relations – always in line with the individual companies' independence. You take responsibility for the strategic purchasing of construction products and building materials for our craftsmen in the technical building equipment divisions as well as windows and facades. You independently conduct price and framework contract negotiations in close coordination with the divisions and the companies. Together with our companies, you will achieve additional shopping success by pooling needs. You actively shape the strategic orientation of our supplier portfolio. You can consolidate purchasing data securely, manage strategic key figures and start sound evaluations and reports. You accompany our companies in the further development of their shopping activities and promote exchange and knowledge transfer. The further development and further development of our shopping area as well as the digitization of our processes are accompanied by your know-how and commitment.

You have completed an economic or technical degree alternatively a technical or commercial training with further training in the shopping area or a comparable qualification. You bring sound knowledge in the strategic purchasing of building products and building materials. You have experience in the independent conduct of negotiations with manufacturers, traders and service providers. You convince with a strong communication strength and perform confidently in exchange with internal interfaces as well as external suppliers and service providers. You work self-organized, structured and reliable with a high degree of self-responsibility. Ideally, you know yourself with decentralized organizations.
