Internship Project Management in Process Development (6 months | Sept/Oct 2026)

You support the project management team of our Advanced Operations department in new development or Optimization of external manufacturing or production processes and work on international and cross-sector projects. The following current projects in the field of computer-assisted surgery and robotics are You can choose from: Process development for reprocessable, navigated instruments as well as process development for innovative computer platforms and application software. Within the team, you take individual task packages of different sizes and thus support the project managers and process engineers in the diverse AO tasks that arise within the project everyday. This can be, for example, the preparation, moderation and optimization of our Daily Management or the introduction and optimization of project management tools. At the same time, it is possible to support the process engineers, for example in carrying out tests in the context of cause analyses and solution inventions, or in the context of the introduction of a new or alternative manufacturing or logistics process for optimizing existing processes. At the central interface between external suppliers and various business areas, you will get comprehensive insights into the product development, manufacturing and quality departments. For larger task packages, you will set up a project plan that will help you control your project and ultimately complete it.

You study engineering with the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, medical technology, production engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics, or are enrolled in a similar course. Your strong interest in project management and manufacturing issues will enable you to deal with complex problems. You could already gain first experiences in the form of internships. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing allow you to communicate easily and safely in our international environment. It's fun to develop solutions independently.
