Responsible for the technical and terminological implementation of complex investment, development and customer projects in the field of metal forming (e.g. new production lines, process qualifications, series approaches) Technical coordination of interdisciplinary, agile project teams from design, production, quality and purchasing taking into account time, quality and cost objectives Evaluate the technical feasibility and identification of challenges in manufacturing processes (reforming, machining, heat treatment, joining technology) and ensure efficient communication with internal and external stakeholders Creating and maintaining a structured technical reporting system as well as continuous monitoring of project progress and process maturity to identify risks early and initiate targeted countermeasures Promoting process and structural improvements in manufacturing based on technical analysis Implementation of project and process take-offs (e.g. initial sample testing) and creation of a comprehensive final report taking into account potentials for improvement and best practices Applying the methodology of quality planning (APQP) along the project course, from product and process planning to series release
Complete technical studies (e.g. mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials engineering) or comparable technical qualification with relevant professional experience Long-standing experience in the successful management of complex projects in the industrial production environment, ideally with forming or cutting processes and/or safety-critical or qualified components (automotive, air/space travel, defense) Advantageous knowledge of metal forming, material science and/or heat treatment Experience with the methodology of quality planning (APQP) Impressed methodological competence in conjunction with strong communication and negotiation skills Analytical thinking and technical problem-solving competence Very good knowledge of German and English Safe handling of MS Office and project management software and ideally basic knowledge of CAD/ERP systems
