To strengthen our team in our kita „Eiffekinder“ we are looking for an educational specialist for the crib area. Our Kita is located directly on an accommodation for people with a refugee background and a staying perspective. Here we support and promote up to 25 crib children of different origins every day – lovingly encountering these children, shaping the place of learning Kita as best as possible for them and enabling new, also cultural experiences, is very close to our hearts!

Your tasks:

• As part of the Kita team, you will design the educational everyday life of the children according to our concept
• They accompany and promote children and make educational offers according to the Hamburger educational recommendations
• They support the children and parents in getting used to the Kita everyday and a good integration into our beautiful city
• The documentation of the funding process is just as your task as well as development talks and the advice of parents
• Your strengths (languages, music, creativity,...) are welcome to us
• They become part of a colorful team that speaks over 10 different languages
• You are designing with: local processes are team cache, team consultations take place 1 x a week

Your profile:

• You are educators*in, SPA or have a comparable qualification (see HH Positive List)
• A prior recognition by the School and Vocational Training Authority is required for foreign qualifications.
• You have good German skills
• Joy in working with children from all over the world and an interest in their diverse world of life
• A professional approach to proximity and distance and respectful handling of the target group and their parents
• Empathy, sense of responsibility, communication strength, commitment, openness, humor - the heart at the right spot
• Joy in team work and team development processes
• An interest in training regularly
