To support our development team we are looking for you as Software Developer (m/w/d) for database programming and web services at Hannover, Frankfurt/Main, Bremen or Braunschweig.

You are part of our C++ developer team to further develop our RailSys® Software Suite. Based on requirements from the Consulter team in the home, you develop object-oriented software solutions independently or in the team and implement them. You can handle the creation and maintenance of C++-SOAP web services for data communication between client and server components within RailSys® and for connecting third-party systems. You'll be puggling and expanding internal data storage in the RailSys® Backend and its connection to the database.

You have a degree (TU, TH, FH, preferably computer science or mathematics) or a comparable training. You are passionate about innovative software development and digitalization in the field of transport and mobility with a focus on rail transport and want to make your personal contribution to a digitalized and climate-friendly future of the rail. You have first knowledge or experience in the development of application software in C/C++ as well as in the design and development of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle or MS SQL). You have an analytical mindset and enjoy solving complex logical problems. You have will strength and endurance in your independent and targeted way of working. With your team and communication skills, you drive the common goal forward. Your very good language skills in German as well as English or another foreign language will let you find the right words in word and writing at any time.
