The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees. Since 2009, the SOS Children's Village Düsseldorf has been active with various offers for children, young people and families. Our facility includes a wide range of activities with school social work at ten locations, the SOS Youth Meeting with the U3 play groups and day care, the outpatient family help, the early help, the multi-generation house and two day care centres. In 2014 we founded our SOS children's village family as the first stationary offer, followed by other offers such as housing groups and residences. In our Kita ''Schatzkiste'' we serve 92 children from six months to the beginning of compulsory schooling in a lovingly designed environment. We live inclusion and participation and bring a lot of music and movement to the everyday life of the children. As a pedagogical specialist, you support the individual development of children with expertise and empathy and encourage them to explore the world in a researching manner. In the team you plan and develop offers and promotions together and design educational testing rooms. You support us in the further development of our educational work. You are regularly exchanged with parents, discuss the state of development and advise on educational issues. You are conscientiously implementing the protection of children and persons.

You have a degree as a state-recognized educatorin, nurse for children, medical educationin, nursing caregiver*in or a completed study of childhood education B.A., social education or social work. We are pleased if you already have experience in pedagogical work with children, but also professional beginners are welcome.
