Project Manager Electrical Engineering (m/w/d)

As part of the Mabanaft Group, Oiltanking has been active in the field of tank storage logistics since 1972 and one of the largest independent partners in the storage of liquid fuels in Germany. If it's liquid, we'll store it! We own and operate 13 tanks with a total capacity of 2.9 million cbm. These are distributed throughout the federal territory, in particular in the Hamburg seaport and along the Rhine, but also in Hungary and Denmark. There we store various products and we relocate them for our customers. We are looking for you for our location in Gelsenkirchen for the next time as possible

In this role, you plan and control electrotechnical projects independently for several of our tank storage sites – from planning to the (local) building management to commissioning. With your know-how, you are supporting the maintenance of our electrical equipment, providing technical documentation for compliance with legal requirements.

Project management: You plan and implement electrotechnical (partial) projects independently – from the conceptual phase to commissioning. You will take the time and budget control to ensure a smooth implementation. Technical documentation: you develop state-of-the-art electrotechnical reports, conduct the project documentation and assist in regulatory applications. Construction management: You coordinate foreign companies, take over the local construction management and make sure that all works are carried out in a professional and regular manner. Maintenance: You support the team in the maintenance of electrical equipment in the tank warehouse and ensure long-term operational safety. Interface management: You work closely with internal departments and external partners in order to ensure perfect project processing and optimal communication.

Qualification: You are a Diplom-Ingenieur (m/w/d) of electrical engineering, technician/master (m/w/d) in this field or have a comparable completed training in the field of electrical engineering. Expertise: You can control electrical engineering safely and have well-founded knowledge in measurement, control and control technology (MSR) as well as in automation and visualization. Legal requirements: You know the relevant legal regulations, especially in the field of explosion protection, and can safely apply them. Industry experience: Ideally, you have a routine in business processes in tank warehouses and/or professional practice in an industry-specific environment. Management systems: You are familiar with integration into a management system. IT and language skills: You are experienced in dealing with current MS Office products, know-how in MS Project and SAP are a plus; You have good English skills. Personal strengths: team capability, safe entry and a structured, process-oriented way of thinking and working are the key to your work. Flexibility: You own the category B of drivers and bring the availability of local travel in Germany and abroad (approximately 10–20 % of working time).
