Engineer for civil engineering structures (m/f/d)

The focus of your responsible activity is on the construction monitoring of new construction and refurbishment measures as well as the project management by reviewing the services on site. You act as a contact partner or contact partner (w/m/d) for construction companies on the motorway construction site, third parties such as engineering offices, senate administration and district offices, as well as for internal specialist and business sectors concerned. Your duties include the organisation of traffic regulations, the coordination of services of third parties and the follow-up management for additional and amended services. In addition, you will be responsible for the assessment according to VOB for the calculation of works after completion of a project as a basis for the subsequent accounting and remuneration of the services. You shall apply the DAfStb Directive for damage elimination and repairs in engineering, for example in the case of warehouse docks and concrete surfaces, and shall ensure the time and cost control by monitoring the performance due to the construction contract with MaViS. The creation of performance directories including construction descriptions as well as the supportive contract management and processing with SAP and iTWO complete your task field.

The optimal prerequisite for this position is a successfully completed (specialized) university degree in the field of civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering or comparable expertise, qualifications and experience. You have very good German skills (min. level B2 to GER/CEFR). You have a class B driving licence and willingness to travel.

That would be desirable: Professional experience in construction engineering. Ideally, you already have well-founded expertise in construction engineering and in the relevant technical regulations, guidelines and legal requirements (e.g. HOAI, VOL, M-BÜ-ING). In addition, you will bring skills and knowledge in the subject-related data processing, in particular in dealing with Microsoft Office and the iTWO tendering and billing system.
