DNV’s Integrated Energy Systems team – Energy Systems is looking for an engineer/advisor (m/w/d) with a strong engineering background to provide services in urban district heating and industrial supply networks. We are a team of 12 people, including both motivated professionals and highly experienced senior experts, who lead the young colleagues. The team supports and advises utilities, industrial customers and many other local and international clients. The position is located in our Dresden office, with different requirements for the work on site at the customer (focus DACH region). The team is part of the senior Transmission & Distribution Technology (TDT). The diverse TDT department comprises 90 professionals with different academic backgrounds – from PhD to M.Sc. to B.Sc.) from different cultures that work in Dresden and Arnhem. Together we offer specialized and innovative consulting services for our customers, mainly operators of transmission and distribution networks, energy supply companies and industries. You will be involved in German and international projects, where you will also work with other teams within DNV, for example with teams focusing on substation projects, asset management or renewable energies. Your tasks include Conception and dimensioning of I&I systems and components Creation of instrumentation, measuring point lists, control engineering configurators, specifications and tender documents Creation and implementation of control concepts, connection of plant parts to existing control systems Design of new control systems taking into account the customer's requirements State evaluation for integrated energy systems and associated distribution and transmission infrastructure You organize and coordinate projects autonomously, take care of scheduling and develop and test technical documentation. In doing so, you will create instrumentations, measurement point lists and concepts, carry out feasibility assessments and develop studies for technical innovations and special solutions.
