For the Common Data Center area, we are looking for a Server Operations Coordinator Location: Berlin Date of entry: Immediate Application deadline: 31.07.2026 Call number: 09-049-2026 Employment: Full time (part time is possible in principle) Remuneration: E10 TV EntgO-DRV Activity We are the joint data center of German pension insurance at the locations Berlin and Würzburg. We stand for a safe and performant operation of the infrastructure, the fulfillment of the relevant legal standards, the feasibility of costs, for economic efficiency and IT consulting. Our data center (RZ-DRV) is the nationwide service manager for the IT infrastructure of DRV and supports its customers with customized IT solutions in the environment of the operating system and database infrastructure from consulting to IT operation. Our Team Platform Virtualization designs and operates the VMware infrastructure of the Common Data Center, as well as the VMware environments Berlin and Würzburg. We look forward to a new*n colleague at the Berlin site.

You work with the creation of standards and guidelines for the DRV Bund-IT Creating IT expert analyses, developing and implementing concepts or IT systems as well as coordination, planning and implementation of IT processes You monitor and control IT procedures and support problem analysis and troubleshooting You perform security-compliant updating of IT systems You edit and coordinate incoming Inciedents, Changes and Problems about our Tickettools (Remedy, ITMS) You create and maintain technical documentation and knowledgebase articles in the Tickettool You accompany external service providers when working in the data center in compliance with the safety requirements You work with colleagues across locations As part of the above-described tasks, you will participate in call readiness (alarming via telephone, SMS, messaging) and, if necessary, planned weekend approaches. Due to the cross-site work, regular scheduled service trips (2-5 times a year) between our locations Berlin and Würzburg are necessary.

You have completed higher education (Bachelor, Diploma) in the IT sector or an equivalent qualification, for example due to IT-specific qualification, completed IT training or comparable practical experience in IT. You can already present multi-year job-relevant professional experience in IT, in particular in first-level support and ideally also in second-level support You work independently, structured and solution-oriented – and always keep the service quality in mind You bring a very good understanding of the functioning of ticket tools, ticket flow and knowledge bases Knowledge or ideally a certification in ITIL v3 complete your profile Your German skills correspond to the language level B2, we will be happy to support you in future in expanding your language skills You are a real team player and like to get involved in project work proactively You bring the willingness to participate in occasional willingness to call, as well as the willingness to occasional missions, as described in the tasks, with As part of your incorporation, your presence on site is required in our location in Berlin
