Head of Construction and Operations Service – Stadtwerke Detmold, preferably Supply Engineer / Civil Engineer (m/f/d)

Supported by your team and in close cooperation with other departments, you will take over the management of all projects in the field of line construction and grid connections for electricity, gas, water and heat networks in the city of Detmold and the adjacent regions: With your approximately 30-member team, you will be able to develop all management projects in coordination with the respective network departments – from the planning of the measures to the implementation. During the planning phase, you are responsible for the costing of construction costs as well as the planning of execution and the initiation of necessary approval procedures. For project realization, you act as a construction manager – you negotiate the contracts with the service providers, monitor the execution of all services during the implementation phase and ensure compliance with the agreed budget and time requirements through close monitoring. The measurement and documentation of all supply lines and the information about it to authorized third parties are also in your hand. In addition, the house-connection team, which – from the customer request, the offer to the order processing and billing – uses all the connection requests across the spectrum.

You have completed a degree in the fields of supply engineering or civil engineering – ideally with previous artisanal or technical training – or a comparable technical qualification. Ideally, you have professional experience in cross-species transfer of supply lines, at best as a construction line / (partial) project management. You bring professional experience in civil engineering and safe handling of geoinformation systems (GIS) – helpful are knowledge of electrical engineering and gas supply.
