Online Editor / Editor (m/w/d) Social Media (Content für Websites, Social Media und Video) (limited until 31.01.2027) Place of work: Frankfurt am Main Employment: Full-time (part-time is possible in principle), limited Job ID: 2025_1037_02 The work unit “Redaktion für Internet, Video und Social Media” develops and publishes content and formats of the Deutsche Bundesbank for digital channels. Through a current and target group-specific communication, we make the tasks of the Bundesbank visible.

As an online editor / online editor of Social Media, you ensure that the Bundesbank is perceived by the relevant target groups with its diverse topics committed to the common good on the social media channels used. To do this, plan, organize and create target group-specific and media-friendly content in word and (movable) image. In addition, you will advise and support, in particular, board members and senior executives in the design of social media performances and also accompany on-site appointments and public performances. You contribute to the further development of the social media and the long-term communication strategy, thereby contributing to the presence of the Bundesbank and its tasks in the public and strengthening the range of their communication.

Master or equivalent degree in the field of communication, humanities or economics Good understanding of economic relations Very good application-oriented knowledge in the editorial use of social media, in the handling of social media tools for publishing, monitoring and analysis, as well as in community management, ideally in the context of large companies, corporations or the public sector First relevant professional experience is beneficial Knowledge of the channel-specific initialling of photo and/or moving image material (e.g. for Stories, Reels) Impressed ability to create texts that are media- and target-group-oriented for various forums and channels (especially social media and website) in high quality – also in short term – Comprehensibility and creativity Self-employed and at the same time team-oriented work Time flexibility Very good communication skills in German and English
