Our work in Wössingen near Karlsruhe is one of the most modern cement works throughout Europe and without our modern IT nothing is going on. Connected to the CRH Group IT, we have our own Active Directory, virtualized servers, a Cisco-Meraki network and around 100 users with as many computers that rely on our small location IT team – and in future on you.

Varied daily business: Together with your employee, you are responsible for the support of all IT systems and ensure the efficient, highly available application operation for our local users with stationary and mobile devices. The procurement, installation, configuration and support of software and systems are as reliable as you handle authorization and license management, IT security and back-up management. Also in the user support you convince as a competent consultant and experienced troubleshooter. Exciting design tasks Together with the specialist areas, you will analyze new requirements for applications and systems and transfer them to practical IT concepts that optimally support our processes. You develop IT solutions and evaluate implementation alternatives in exchange with your team and external system providers – always with regard to quality and efficiency. You control IT projects around the introduction and further development of production-relevant systems, oversee the implementation by external service providers and ensure smooth processes. In close cooperation with key users and quality assurance, you plan and coordinate software tests. It is clear that you also accompany the introduction of new applications and make “deine” users fit. With all this, you will be in close contact with colleagues from the Group IT and will help shape innovative developments in international IT projects.

Study of (economic) informatics, or training as a specialist:in or comparable qualification 4+ years of experience as a system/network administrator:in operation and support of complex IT infrastructures and in IT project work Important: Consistent with Windows, Office 365, Active Directory as well as with hardware and A plus: knowledge of VMware and Cisco Meraki Very good understanding of processes in a production company.
