Head of Student Service Processing of general principles of the subject Perception of organisational responsibility: Decision on structural design and process design, planning, control and coordination of workflows/tasks and personnel use between the work areas of the student service, supervision of legal application, creation and implementation of sustainable concepts for the monitoring of legal requirements and internal regulations, as well as the proper and uniform application of legal requirements, development of guidelines etc., management and optimization of business processes, determination of strategic orientation and operational objectives Personnel responsibility: performance-oriented management and motivation as well as the conception and implementation of a personnel development strategy Ensuring networking with other actors of the Student Life Cycle at BTU, insbes. Department of Teaching and Studies, College, International Relations Office (IRO), Communication and Marketing Consultative cooperation in relevant commissions, Senate commissions and Audit Committees Consultation of the Head of Division in all matters of the subject area, drafting of proposals for decision-making for the management of the department, the units or bodies Responsibility for the creation and maintenance of BTU's enrollment regulations and framework examination and study regulations Examination of new and amended subject-specific study and examination regulations, selection regulations and study-related cooperation agreements Decision on the execution of the specialist procedure as a basis for mapping in the campus management system (CMS) responsible control of fee management clarification of complex issues of expertise and law by applicants in individual cases Coordination of information and service offers in the field of student service

They have completed university studies (Bachelor, Diplom-FH) in the field of administrative sciences, public management, business management, or a field similar to activity. The following knowledge and/or experience is desirable: very good knowledge of the university and study system as well as administrative processes of university management, very good knowledge of the basics, methods and techniques of process management as well as experience in managing and coordinating administrative processes, knowledge and experience in personnel management, very good knowledge of integrated information technologies and content management systems and their structures, very good knowledge of German and English. Personally, you are characterized by an analytical thinking and working method as well as the ability to cross-structure problem analysis. In addition, you will bring leadership skills, team skills, organizational skills, targeting and reliability. Their profile is rounded off by a pronounced communication capability with different target groups.
